Connecting with Your Loved One in Our Care


Your support is critical to the recovery and well-being of your loved one in treatment at Collin Springs. Our patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, patient care assistants, and our medical staff. With the approval of your loved one and the Care Team, we welcome you to participate in our family-oriented treatment plan.

Please read the following requirements PRIOR to visiting:

Visitation

  • Patients may have two visitors per visitation.
  • Children ages 13 and under are not permitted to visit during regular visitation. Special accommodations must be made for visiting children under the age of 13 or for any patient’s minor children to visit at the patient’s request. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children cannot be left unattended anywhere on the property.
  • Please arrive early if you are dropping off belongings at reception prior to your visit. All dropped off property must be logged in by reception. Please allow ample time to log any belongings that are brought to the facility at visitation time.
  • Any visitors who arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of visitation will not be permitted to visit.
  • Business Office will be available before or after visitation to answer any insurance questions.

Visitation times are listed on the schedule below. If you wish to contact a patient by phone, please call the patient telephone number shown below. If the call is not answered, please leave a voicemail message that will be delivered to the patient as soon as possible. Please leave your full name, along with the patient code when leaving a message.

NOTICE: It is at the discretion of our patients to allow or deny access to information regarding their stay at Collin Springs. We ask you to please respect their safety and privacy.

Visiting Hours


LAUREL North and East:
Tuesday–Saturday, 3:40 PM–4:10 PM

MAPLE North and West:
Tuesday–Saturday, 4:15 PM–4:45 PM

Patient belongings

The following items are permitted:

  • All current medications (including OTC meds and inhalers).
  • Five sets of clothing/underwear/socks
    • No drawstrings, shoestrings or other ties
    • Washers and dryers are available on the unit for washing clothes
  • Nightwear/pajamas
  • Sweater or jacket 
  • A small amount of jewelry
    • Wedding bands, small post earrings, and a necklace
  • Only unopened cigarette packs

Collin Springs is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
